Note : No Way Out è l’album di debutto del rapper americano Puff Daddy. È stato pubblicato il 22 luglio 1997 dall’Arista Records e dalla Bad Boy Records.Puff Daddy ha lavorato ampiamente con The Notorious B.I.G e The Hitmen per creare l’album, che ha visto un cambio di direzione in seguito alla sparatoria di Biggie e alla sua morte nei mesi precedenti all’uscita. Questo avvenimento ha ampiamente influenzato Puff Daddy, che ha espresso il suo stato d’animo nell’album tramite una combinazione di testi aggressivi e introspettivi, come anche una produzione grezza che evidenzia il cambio del suo stato emotivo prima e dopo il decesso del suo amico.
Alla produzione si sono aggiunti anche Rashad Smith e Jaz-O, mentre l’album contiene featuring di The Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, Mase, Lil' Kim, Carl Thomas, Jay-Z, Black Rob, The LOX, Ginuwine, Twista, Foxy Brown, Faith Evans e 112.
