Ambientato tra le rovine di struggente bellezza dell'antico anfiteatro romano di Pompei, in Italia, il film riprende i Pink Floyd mentre eseguono un concerto intimo senza pubblico. Girato nell'ottobre 1971, l'esibizione presenta brani indimenticabili come “Echoes”, “A Saucerful of Secrets” e “One of These Days”. Le immagini mozzafiato dell'anfiteatro, catturate sia di giorno che di notte, amplificano la magia della performance, creando un'esperienza unica e coinvolgente. Inoltre, il film include rari scorci del dietro le quinte della band che lavora a The Dark Side of the Moon negli Abbey Road Studios. Questo restauro meticoloso offre una qualità dell'immagine e del suono sbalorditiva, con un mix teatrale e per l'home entertainment di Steven Wilson in 5.1 e Dolby Atmos.
