Notes : Edizione in doppio vinile rimasterizzato e colorato (bianco) La Grande Grotta è stato pubblicato nel 1981 con produzione ed arrangiamenti di Claudio Fabi e dello stesso Alberto Fortis. Il disco, registrato a Los Angeles con musicisti eccellenti come Alex Acuna, Abe Laboriel, Dean Parks e Mitch Holder è uno dei più belli e complessi del cantautore, tutt'altro che un album disimpegnato. Quello che si ascolta in questo album è un Alberto Fortis che non ha più limiti, un cantante in pieno possesso dei suoi mezzi tecnici. Raramente in Italia si è sentito un artista tanto consapevole di sé quanto il Fortis dei primi anni '80. "La Grande Grotta" ha il pregio di fotografarlo in questo preciso momento, con una poetica che si arricchiva di tematiche e suggestioni nuove ed un'ironia pungente e spietata che caratterizavano alcuni testi fra i più belli che avesse mai scritto.
