Padri fondatori del GOTH ROCK americano, i Christian Death hanno sempre avuto una posizione implacabile contro la religione organizzata e la morale convenzionale, con un appetito per la provocazione che fa sembrare Marilyn Manson come gli Stryper. Christian Death sono sempre pronti a scioccare, sia nelle loro copertine che nei loro testi, che sguazzano nella blasfemia, nella morbosità, nell'uso di droga e nella perversione sessuale. La loro musica si basa su riff di chitarra lenti, cupi e carichi di effetti e su synth ambientali da colonna sonora horror, e le loro performance teatrali sono fortemente influenzate dai glam rocker britannici come David Bowie e Roxy Music, così come dai provocatori industriali Throbbing Gristle. Evil Becomes Rule non è semplicemente uno sforzo musicale, ma un'espressione artistica che fonde elementi di GOTHIC ROCK, POST-PUNK e DARK POP, coltivando un'estetica poetica che sicuramente continuerà a influenzare la prossima ondata del GOTHIC ROCK.Genre : MetalRock
