Mentre il CD originale di 20 tracce è diventato l'introduzione definitiva ai primi lavori dell'artista, Boy Child è stato disponibile solo per un breve periodo come singolo LP in vinile con una lista di tracce troncata. Questo set espanso di 2LP presenta la collezione completa con ulteriori classici come "Always Coming Back to You" e "30th Century Man," "Angels of Ashes," e la rara traccia non album, "The Rope and the Colt."
