ANTHEM - CRIMSON & JET BLACK (2023)
Notes : Quattro anni dopo l’album “Nucleus”, pubblicato in tutto il mondo e acclamato dalla critica nel 2019 (una riregistrazione dei loro classici successi con testi in inglese), gli ANTHEM, la band leader dell’heavy metal giapponese, hanno impiegato saggiamente il tempo di inattività durante la pandemia e sono ora pronti a pubblicare il loro nuovo album in studio intitolato “Crimson & Jet Black”. Tutte le canzoni sono ancora una volta cantante in inglese. Dopo aver portato a termine non uno, ma ben due tour per l’anniversario nel 2021 (il tour per il 35° anniversario della band, che era stato posticipato a causa delle restrizioni dovute alla pandemia, e il 20° anniversario del loro tour di reunion intitolato “ANTHEM vs ANTHEM 2001”), gli ANTHEM si sono dedicati a questo nuovo album per dare il via al loro prossimo capitolo. Originariamente previsto per la primavera del 2022, il leader della band Naoto Shibata, da perfezionista qual è, ha deciso di arricchire ulteriormente la qualità delle canzoni e ha posticipato il calendario delle registrazioni all’estate/autunno, in modo che fosse raggiunta la perfezione. Proprio come negli album precedenti, Naoto è il produttore principale dell’album, ma questa volta il rinomato produttore svedese Jens Bogren (noto per il suo lavoro con artisti del calibro di Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir e Opeth, solo per citarne alcuni), che aveva già mixato e masterizzato “Nucleus”, è accreditato come Co-produttore.Genre : Metal
